Hello friends! How cute is this Blah Humbunny Snowglobe Shaker Card?!!! The Blah Bunny stamp set is one of my favorite Honey Bee Stamps ever and the newest edition Blah Humbunny is perfect for cute, clever, punny holiday cards and projects!
To create this low-profile shaker, I die cut the window for the snow globe from embossable plastic using the solid ornament/snow globe shape from the Ornament Shaker Card Die Collection. A backer for the shaker was die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the same die and lightly inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
The frame for the shaker was die cut six times from Mermaid Cardstock. Instead of piecing together foam tape to secure the shaker I'm instead going to adhere the frames one on top of another. Not only does this build up the shaker well but it gives a nice, clean profile when viewed from the side! No unsightly foam tape pieces!
The snow globe base pieces were die cut with Storm Cloud Cardstock.
Greetings from the Blah Humbunny Stamp Set were stamped on the clear shaker window with Cotton White StazOn Ink, following the curve of the round shaker window.
Another frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock. The frame was set aside for another project and the inside circle was die cut with Hill Borders to create a snowy border along the front of the window.
Images from the Blah Humbunny Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Blah Humbunny Dies.
The images were adhered to the front of the shaker window as shown. Nuvo Crystal Drops were used to embellish the hat. Glossy Accents was used on the bunny's nose and candy canes.
The clear window was adhered to the back of the frame. The rest of the frames were adhered to the backside of the clear window one on top of another. The shaker was filled with Snowdrift Confetti Pieces and the backer was secured to the back of the snow globe.
The card base was stamped with snowflakes from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set using Waffle Flower New Fish In Pond Ink. The snow globe was assembled and adhered to the front of the card and the corners were rounded with a 1/2" corner rounder.
