Welcome to Cyber Week at Simon Says Stamp!
I'm so thrilled to be sharing a set of four cards created with the amazing new Lawn Fawn Holiday Mash Up Stamp Set, Friends Forever! This awesome stamp set and coordinating dies is a mash up of the last four years STAMPtember Lawn Fawn exclusive stamp sets:
- 2014 STAMPtember Stamp Set: Feathered Friends
- 2015 STAMPtember Stamp Set: Merry Christmouse
- 2016 STAMPtember Stamp Set: Happy Howlidays
- 2017 STAMPtember Stamp Set: Christmas Like No Otter
This awesome mash up makes it super easy to create multiple cards with the adorable Lawn Fawn images and greetings! I created a couple of holiday cards and a couple of friendship cards with this amazing new stamp set. I'm also sharing my favorite way to create an embossed frame with a Lawn Fawn die.
An Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Die was embossed on smooth white cardstock backgrounds using Spellbinders tan embossing mats. Instead of cutting through the paper, the embossing mats and using the number 1 tab on the Sizzix Big Shot platform makes creating an awesome embossed frame so easy! These dies are some of my favorite because of the two stitched lines and the scallop frame.
Images and greetings from the Lawn Fawn Holiday Mash Up Stamp Set, Friends Forever were stamped on each panel using Jet Black Ink for the images to be colored with Copic Markers, Versafine Onyx Black for the black stamped greetings and Chili Pepper and Mermaid Ink for the colorful greetings.
I colored in the images with Copic Markers as shown. Colors are listed along the bottom of the screen in the video for easy reference.
The panel for each card was adhered to a white top fold card base. This is almost a single layer card. The embossed frames and stamping is all on a single panel adhered to a top fold card base.
Each card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops that match the theme of the card, and Glossy Accents on some of the stamped elements.
