I'm addicted to using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers with floral stamped images. The Botanic Hello was one of my favorite greeting/image stamp sets earlier this year and I'm so excited that Mama Elephant has added to the line with the new Botanic Thanks Stamp Set. The large frame from the Lafayette Die Collection works perfectly with this image whether you want to frame it up or create a spotlight stamped image like I did today.
The Framed Tags Lafayette frame was die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I chose to do the die cutting before so I would know exactly where the image would fall in the die lines. You could also do the die cutting after you've watercolored.
The Botanic Thanks image was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The image was colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen.
Additional frames were die cut from smooth white cardstock to make the spotlight area stand out. To create the look, the stamped and watercolored frame was adhered to a white side fold card base. The extra inside frame pieces were stacked one on top of another in the frame opening, finishing with the watercolored panel on top.
Another greeting from the Botanic Thanks Stamp Set was stamped on Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being trimmed into a strip and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
