Shaker cards continue to be one of my very favorite interactive card designs. Today I paired the brand new Scripty Notes greeting stamp set with the Hug It Out frame and older designs from Carried Away (balloon and balloon string) and Pandamonium (panda) for this sweet shaker card.
The Hug It Out frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock and Tonic Silver Cardstock. The inside rectangle was inked with Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks with the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. The background was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel.
The cloud background was adhered to a white top fold card base. Two layers of foam tape were adhered around the edges of the background and the shaker "well" was filled with Pretty Pink Posh Lilac Seed Beads, Silver Mini Heart Confetti, and Honey Bee Stamps Bokeh Lights sequins.
The balloon string from Carried Away stamp set (the was stamped on a piece of embossable plastic with Cotton White StazOn Ink. The plastic was adhered behind the silver glitter frame and then the frame was secured to the shaker card as shown.
The balloon from Carried Away and the panda from Pandamonium were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Carried Away Dies and Pandamonium Dies.
A greeting from the Scripty Notes greeting stamp set was stamped on the balloon with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The balloon and panda were adherd to the front of the shaker window and some thin twine was secured around the bottom of the balloon to finish the design.
