There are some truly remarkable and inspiring products from Honey Bee for the holidays and I thought it would be fun to combine one of my new favorites, the Snow Globe Ornament Shaker Card die set with some older stamp set to create these snowman scene shaker gift tags. The larger size of these tags allows for creating some truly amazing scenes! Don't need tags and/or ornaments? No problem! Pop this cutie on a card and you're good to go! You could even flip it around and make it a snow globe! I love these dies!!!
The back of the shaker was die cut from smooth white cardstock and the shaker window was die cut from embossable plastic using the solid Snow Globe Ornament Shaker Card die. A frame for the front was die cut from smooth white cardstock and two layers of fun foam were die cut using the frame die. Ornament toppers were die cut from glitter cardstock for the top of each ornament.
On the back panel for the tag, greetings from the Let It Snow Stamp Set were stamped using black and red inks.
A greeting from the Flakey Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped on the front of the shaker window using Cotton White Ink. Snowflakes from the Let It Snow Stamp Set were also stamped on the shaker window.
A border was die cut from the white cardstock insert from die cutting the frame for the shaker tag. The Hill Borders are perfect for adding the look of "snow" to a winter project!
Peacock Feathers and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks were applied to the inside back of the card
The snowman and bird from Let It Snow Stamp Set the and the tree and presents from the More Flakey Friends Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink, colored in with Copic Markers and die cut with the coordinating Let It Snow Dies and More Flakey Friends Dies.
The border, snowman, bird, and presents were adhered to the front of the shaker card. The trees were adhered to the inside panel of the shaker.
The fun foam frames were adhered one on top of another to the back panel of the shaker, next the clear window panel was adhered, and finally the front frame was put in place. The glitter ornament toppers were adhered to the front and back of each tag and then finished with some silver twine tied to the top of each.
