Welcome to the Lawn Fawn December Inspiration Week!
(Note: All *NEW* Supplies Will Be Available for Purchase December 14, 2017)
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the coming soon Rawr Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I did a little mirror stamping with the adorable dinosaur to make them "kissing" on this love-themed card share!
For the background, I used the embossing with dies sandwish for the Spellbinder's Platinum Die Cutting Machine to emboss, rather than die cut, the new Lacy Heart Stackables Die and Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables Die from Chili Pepper Cardstock. I love the look of embossing on a card and by embossing with your dies, you get even more use out of them! Win-win!
To mirror stamp the dinosaur image from the Rawr Stamp Set, I used a solid image stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Big Perfect Shapes Stamp Set and stamped the dinosaur on the stamp and then pressed the paper into the inked image. This gives you the reverse of the image. I then stamped the image like normal as well as the hearts, speech bubble, and bow. The images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut using the coordinating dies (you will need to cut the reverse image by placing the die on the back of the paper, lining it up using a light source), and adhered to the background as shown.
Greetings from the Rawr Stamp Set were stamped on Black Licorice Cardstock with Versamark In, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into thin strips and adhered to the card as shown.
The design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Carnation Pink, Crushed Grape, and Simply White. The corners were rounded with a 1/2" corner rounder.
