Hello friends!
I'm back from a little blogging break with a brand new set of cards featuring the brand new Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Lacy Heart Stackables Dies, Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables Dies as well as the previously released Stitched Heart Envelope Dies, Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Tiny Gift Box Dies, and the Simon Says Stamp Gingham Background! I love mixing and matching to create just the right design, don't you?!!!
The adorable new images from the Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.
The backgrounds were die cut from Ballet Slippers, Raspberry, Chili Pepper, and Peacock Cardstock using a Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Dies. I masked off the edges from the stitching line to the scallop edge and tone-on-tone stamped the center of each with the Simon Says Stamp Gingham Background. I used Ballet Slippers, Chili Pepper, and Peacock Lawn Fawn inks for the backgrounds.
Hearts were die cut from Ballet Slippers, Raspberry, Chili Pepper, Vanilla Malt, and Peacock Cardstock using the Lacy Heart Stackables Dies, Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables Dies, Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Tiny Gift Box Dies. The hearts were layered and adhered to the backgrounds as shown.
The Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends images were adhered to the large hearts and greetings were stamped on the bottom part of each background.
Nuvo Crystal Glaze was applied to parts of the colored images and the smallest cardstock heart on each card. An arrow was die cut from Lawn Fawn Storm Cloud cardstock using the Stitched Heart Envelope Dies and adhered to the center of the small layered cardstock heart. The adhesive will adhere it and hold it in place.
Each background was adhered to a white top fold card base to finish the designs.
