Hello! Mixing and matching some favorite Lawn Fawn stamps and dies today for a Valentine's-themed conversation hearts card! The How You Bean Stamps and coordinating dies, Conversation Hearts Add On Stamps, and Love Letters Stamps and coordinating dies make for the perfect card. This design look familiar? I scraplifted myself when I needed some inspiration. I created THIS Halloween themed candy corn How You Bean Card last year and it inspired this Valentine's card today!
The background was created by die cutting Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles. Greetings from the were used to stamped the inside rectangle with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I masked the edges off both the inside rectangle and frame with post it tape and inking the pieces with Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. Both pieces were spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel. The sentiment was buffed with a dry paper towel to remove any ink sitting on top of the embossing.
The background was adhered to a white top fold card base and the frame was adhered with foam adhesive squares for a bit of dimension.
The jar and lid from the How You Bean Stamps, birds from Love Letters Stamps, and conversation hearts from the Conversation Hearts Add On Stamps, were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Love Letters Dies and How You Bean Dies. The conversation hearts were customized with sentiments from the Conversation Hearts Add On Stamps and Lawn Fawn Inks.
The images were adhered to the card as shown.
The label from the How You Bean Stamps and sentiment from the Conversation Hearts Add On Stamps were stamped on vellum using embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The label was die cut with the coordinating How You Bean Dies, run through the Xyron Sticker Maker and adhered to the "jar".
The card was finished with a scattering of small hearts stamped with Lawn Fawn Lobster Red Ink.
