Today's card features a rainbow background created from strips of patterned papers from the kit with a bright white die cut Village border paired with a little stamping. This would be a great card to send to your fellow crafty friend who lives far away!
For the border, I die cut the Village dies from the smooth white cardstock in the kit and used a craft knife to trim the "scene" into a border for the bottom of my card.
A sentiment and border from the Crafty Friends Stamp Set were stamped on the village border with Onyx Black Versafine Ink, Simon Says Stamp Teeny Bikini Ink, Orange Peel Ink, Sunshine Ink, and Spring Rain Ink.
A background was created by trimming a bunch of the Echo Park I'd Rather Be Crafting patterned papers from the kit into varying width strips and adhering them to another pieced of cardstock coated with Stick It Adhesive.
The village border was adhered over the rainbow striped patterned paper background with foam adhesive squares.
A speech bubble was die cut from white cardstock using a Nested Talk Bubbles Dies and stamped with a sentiment from the Crafty Friend Stamp Set before being adhered to the scene with foam adhesive.
The front of the card was finished with a scattering of Studio Katia Cupid's Kiss rhinestones adhered with Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky Glue.
The back of the card was stamped with the "handmade by" stamp from the Crafty Friend Stamp Set to finish the design.

Fun card, Nichol! Love the stark white silhouette against the colourful backgroud. The strips are a great way to use those pretty papers.

I love the background on this card Nichol and thank you also as a crafter for leaving in your errors
and demonstrating how to put these right. Love that you also pull out older dies for new
projects too because I certainly would not like to get rid of any of my stash just because it was
not in the latest catalogues. Can't wait till the next video tutorial. :o)
