Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Picnic With Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies! I used the previously released On The Hills Dies to build the adorable outdoor scene for these sweet critters.
To start, I die cut the background elements from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the On The Hills Dies. The hills and tree tops were inked with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, the tree trunks with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, and the background with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The background and grassy borders with spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry.
All of the pieces plus the clouds were adhered to the blue inked panel to finish the background. A greeting from the Picnic With Friends Stamp Set was stamped along the top cloud edge as shown.
Critters and images from the Picnic With Friends Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were adhered along the grassy edge of the background scene to complete the card.
