Hello! Today I have a quick and easy card share featuring components from the March 2018 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The kit has sold out but the papers, stamps, and embellishments I'm using for my card today can be purchased individually. I am creating a quick and easy card featuring coloring over a white woodgrain patterned paper with Polychromos Colored Pencils. No masking, no fussy cutting needed! This card came together super fast!
Patterned papers from the Carta Bella Spring Market 6x6 paper pad were trimmed down and adhered to the front of a cream card base as shown. I made sure the white woodgrain paper was tall enough to accommodate the bunny image, sentiments, and additional images.
Sentiments from the Showers and Flowers Stamp Set were stamped along the bottom left of the white woodgrain strip with Twirling Tutu, Melon, Duckling, and Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
The bunny and carrot were also stamped with the Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Polychromos Colored Pencils, and blended with Gamsol.
Hearts from the Showers and Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on the background with Twirling Tutu and Melon inks.
The bunny was finished by gluing a pom pom in place over the stamped tail.
