Hello friends! Nichol here today with a stenciled hexi background using Nuvo Lemon Sorbet Mousse and finished with a layered Hello greeting and adorable Happy Fall Y'all bees!
For the textured background I applied Nuvo Lemon Sorbet Mousse through a Hexi Patterns Background stencil and let the mousse dry all the way while working on the rest of the design.
For the layered Hello greeting I die cut the back layer from Champagne Glitter Cardstock, the middle layer through smooth white cardstock, and the top layer from gold foil cardstock. The layers were adhered to the card as shown. An additional greeting from the Bee-You-Tiful Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped on vellum with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The strip was trimmed into a thin strip, threaded through the loop in the word "hello" and secured to the card.
The bees from the Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink, colored in with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The bees were adhered to the design with foam adhesive squares. The wings on the bees were embellished with White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops. Detail was added to the bees with white and black jelly roll pens.
The card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Pale Gold, Bright Gold, White Gloss, and Ebony Black.
