Hello! Today I'm sharing a partial inlay die cutting card with the Simon Says Stamp Leaf Border Frame featuring beautiful florals from the Bold Flowers Stamp Set and greetings from the Big Thanks Words Stamp Set.
For the simply partial inlay frame, I die cut three of the Leaf Border Frame from smooth white cardstock and stacked and adhered them one on top of another on a top fold card base. I die cut the frame again from Audrey Blue Cardstock and inlay the outside frame pieces around the leaves to give the illusion the leaves were matted on aqua cardstock.
On the center die cut aqua piece I stamped greetings from the Big Thanks Words Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love the look of white against the aqua cardstock.
Flowers and leaves from the Bold Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp dye inks in: Cotton Candy, Teeny Bikini, Clementine, Duckling, Jellybean, Hydrangea, Blue Violet, and Dark Chocolate. I used the Mini MISTI to stamp the images so I could stamp them one on top of another for full coverage. Three of the flowers were adhered with foam adhesive and the rest of the images were tucked under and around them to make a full floral arrangement.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush, Carnation Pink, Dandelion Yellow, Ripened Pumpkin, and Simply White were applied on and around the flowers to finish the design.
