Welcome to the final day of the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!
I'm a day late getting this post up due to some internet issues (my kids thought the end of the world was near, ha!). Looks like we're up and running now and I have a super fun card to share with you today! The brand new Bayou Backdrop is an amazing die collection, perfect for creating die cut scenes! I paired the Bayou Backdrop dies with alligators from the Wild For You and Critters Down Under make the perfect scene card.
A Stitched Rectangle Die was used to die cut from smooth white cardstock. The inside rectangle was inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, and adhered to a white side fold card base. The frame coordinates perfectly with the Bayou Backdrop and will make framing up this scene super simple!
The Bayou Backdrop was die cut from Cilantro Cardstock and adhered to the side fold card base. The white Stitched Rectangle Die was adhered over the Bayou Backdrop. The water was die cut from Mermaid Cardstock and inked with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. The leaves, grass, and cattails bases were die cut from Noble Fir Cardstock and adhered to the scene as shown. The rest of the cattails were die cut from Paper Bag Cardstock and adhered to complete the die cut background scene.
The alligators and bird from the Wild For You and Critters Down Under were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Wild For You and Critters Down Under dies. Flies from the Toadally Awesome Stamp Set were stamped on the background and colored in with the Y19 Copic Marker.
Details were added to the scene with a white pen to finish the design.
