Welcome to the Lawn Fawn April Inspiration Week!
The new Cloudy Hillside Pop Up Dies are the latest add on for the Stitched Hillside Pop Up! These dies are fantastic for creating awesome interactive pop up cards. I paired these dies with the Upon A Star and Mom + Me stamp sets to create this written in the stars friendship card design.
A Small Stitched Rectangle Die was used to die cut Blue Jay cardstock panels (one for the front and one for the inside of the card). Constellations from the Upon A Star stamp set were stamped on the panels using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with embossing powder. Yeti White Pigment Ink was applied around the edges of the panel with a foam ink blending tool. The excess ink was wiped away with a dry paper towel. One panel was adhered to the front of the card and one to the inside as shown.
For the front of the card, the Cloudy Hillside Pop Up Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock, the longer of the two was stamped with greetings from the Upon A Star stamp set using black ink, and then adhered along the bottom edge of the card.
The Cloudy Hillside Pop Up Dies and Stitched Hillside Pop Up were used to create the pop up inside the card.
Fox and star images from the Upon A Star and Mom + Me stamp sets were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Upon A Star Dies and Mom + Me Dies.
The images were adhered to the front and inside of the card as shown.
An additional greeting from the Upon A Star stamp set was stamped inside the card to finish the sentiment.
The star were finished with a layer of glitter using Nuvo Crystal Glaze in White Blizzard and a few additional drops were adhered to the sky for embellishment.
