Hello! Today I'm sharing this swinging good time card featuring the brand new Mama Elephant Little Monkey Agenda Stamp Set and coordinating dies! I paired these adorable monkeys with the vines from the Swinging Borders Stamp Set and framed it all up with the Tri Window Frame and Hugs sentiment dies.
The Tri Window Frame die was die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Two of the inside rectangles were stamped with vines from the Swinging Borders Stamp Set. The frames and inside rectangles were inked with Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks using ink blending tools. The vines and leaves were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers directly over the inked background. Because both the Zigs and Distress Inks are water based, as long as the ink underneath is light enough, you can generally color over the inking just fine. The Hugs greeting from the Tri Window Frame die was die cut from the third rectangle and the letters set aside. The greeting was also die cut from Fun Foam backed with Stick It adhesive on both sides.
The inside rectangles were adhered directly to the card base and the frame adhered with foam adhsive. The "hugs" sentiment Fun Foam letters were adhered first and then the inked die cut letters for a dimensional tone-on-tone greeting.
Monkey's from the Little Monkey Agenda Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut with the coordinating dies , and adhered to the card as shown. A sentiment from the Little Girl Agenda Stamp Set was used to customize the signage.
