Hello, my sweet friends!
The amazing Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club is filled with the most amazing flower dies! This month's Small Die of the Month Club Kit comes with thirteen floral dies for only $7.50 plus shipping! I used the flowers from this month's kit to create layered flowers perfect for framing up this die cut circle opening and stamped greeting.
To create the background of my card, I die cut Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangle Die and a Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Circle Die. I die cut the circle die from smooth white cardstock as well.
For the frame, I stamped the aqua panel with the Simon Says stamp Good Reading Background Stamp and Lawn Fawn Mermaid Ink for a tone-on-tone text background. On the circle die cut I stamped the "hello" and "my sweet friend" sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp + CZ Design Hello You Stamp Set with Lawn Fawn Mermaid Ink and Peacock Ink.
I adhered the frame and circle on a white top fold card base.
The flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders April 2018 Small Die of the Month Club were die cut from Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers, Raspberry, Fake Tan, Canned Pumpkin, Sticky Note, Sunflower, Cilantro, Noble Fir, and Sugarplum cardstock and Simon Says Stamp Lavender cardstock. The pieces were layered as shown and the stems were trimmed from the leaves to tuck them under the layered flowers.
The design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White.
