The Honey Bee Spring Release is now available in the Honey Bee Online Store HERE!
Today I'm combining the Branch and Leaves Dies with the Little Ladies for this long and skinny non-traditional sized card. My card measures 4" x 8 1/2".
I trimmed some Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 8" x 8 1/2", scored it in half and inked the front of the panel with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I spritzed the ink with water from a Distress Sprayer, blotted it dry and set it aside to dry.
Sentiments from the Love Bug Stamp Set were stamped on the "sky" and also the inside of the card as shown.
The Branch and Leaves were die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Gathered Twigs, Twisted Citron, and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks. The branch was adhered to the "sky" with liquid adhesive and the leaves were layered and adhered to the branch with foam adhesive.
Lady bugs from the Little Ladies Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers before being die cut with the coordinating Little Ladies Dies.
The lady bugs were adhered with foam adhesive. A black fine detail pen was used to create stitched lines on the critters and a white pen was used to add highlights to the lady bugs, leaves, and dots in the sky.
