Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a couple of all die cut cards just in time for Mother's Day card making. The Woodland Critter Huggers are great all on their own as gift card holders but today I wanted to try something a little different and see how these cuties would work paired with my favorite Little Flowers Dies and Spring Sprig Dies. These florals are sized perfectly to work with the cute Woodland Critter Huggers and make the sweetest cards! Consider making all the critters (you can make a fox, squirrel, owl, reindeer, chipmunk, or raccoon) and creating a set of gift cards.
For the backgrounds of each card one layer was die cut from smooth white cardstock using an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Die and the other layer was die cut from Gotta Have Gingham 6x6 patterned paper using a Small Stitched Rectangle Die. Greetings from the Happy Happy Happy Stamp Set were stamped directly on the patterned paper using black ink.
The Woodland Critter Huggers were used to die cut a squirrel from Vanilla Malt, Paper Bag, Ballet Slippers, Black Licorice, and Chocolate Bar cardstocks. The The critter was inked with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks, assembled, and adhered to the card front as shown.
The flowers, leaves, and flower pot from the Little Flowers, Spring Sprig, and Woodland Critter Huggers were die cut from Sticky Note, Sunflower, Cilantro, Noble Fir, Lavender, Sugarplum, and Chocolate Bar cardstocks. The images were inked with Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. The images were assembled and adhered as shown. A butterfly from the Mini Pop Up Butterflies was die cut from Mermaid and Storm Cloud cardstock.
Detail was added to the images with a white pen and Glossy Accents was applied to the centers of all the flowers as shown.
