Hello friends! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Donut Treats Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I combined the Favor Bag Add On Cat and new Pocket Envie Dies for this cat and mouse birthday card! For my other card featuring this stamp set, click HERE.
The background and frame of the card were created with the Pegworks Frame Die. I cut the frame three times and stacked them one on top of another for a slightly dimensional frame. The insert was inked with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, and blotted dry with a paper towel.
The cat was created by combining the Favor Bag Cat Add On and Dog Add On dies. Eyelashes were drawn in with a fine tip black pen. Glossy Accents was added to the eyes and nose. Spun Sugar Distress Ink was applied to the ink with a sponge dauber. The hair bow was die cut twice from Lawn Fawn Sunflower Cardstock and layered before being finished with a Honey Bee Stamps Kiss Me Candy Heart.
The new Pocket Envie was die cut from Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock and the flap was stamped with the arrow and "open me" from the Just A Note Stamp Set. The envelope was adhered to the scene as shown and held by the kitties paws! The heart "closure" was die cut from Lawn Fawn Raspberry Cardstock three times, adhered one on top of another, and finished with a Layer of Glossy Accents.
The insert and stitched lines were die cut from smooth white cardstock. A greeting from the Donut Treats Stamp Set was masked and stamped between the stitched lines of the insert using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
The Donut Treats Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

Your card is just adorable, Nichol. There are so many donut stamp sets out there, and I'm so glad I have not purchased one yet. The Mama Elephant set is in my shopping card about to be purchased. Thanks for the fantastic inspiration.

So adorable Nichol, I love it when you use "old" and new products together. It gives me always an idea what to do with my older products. Thank you and have a nice weekend.
