The background and frame of the card were created with the Pegworks Frame Die. I cut the frame three times and stacked them one on top of another for a slightly dimensional frame. The insert was inked with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, and blotted dry with a paper towel.
The new Pocket Envie was die cut from Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock and the flap was stamped with the arrow and "open me" from the Just A Note Stamp Set. The envelope was adhered to the scene as shown and held by the kitties paws! The heart "closure" was die cut from Lawn Fawn Raspberry Cardstock three times, adhered one on top of another, and finished with a Layer of Glossy Accents.
The insert and stitched lines were die cut from smooth white cardstock. A greeting from the Donut Treats Stamp Set was masked and stamped between the stitched lines of the insert using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

Today I'm sharing a set of four cards featuring several new stamp sets from the newest release. Every card features stamping/inking and no die cutting! Simple designs that showcase the adorable critters from the Hello There Stamp Set, punny fun greetings from the Playful Messages Stamp Set, and an amazing background with the Deco Diamonds background stamp!
The embossed resist backgrounds are the perfect simple, yet colorful and interesting backdrop for the stamped strips each featuring a critter and lots of greetings!
Smooth white cardstock was trimmed into 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" and stamped with a critter/greetings from the Hello There Stamp Set and whimsical greetings from the Playful Messages Stamp Set. The images were colored in with Copic Markers. Detail was added to the noses with Glossy Accents and the eyes were embellished with white and black gel pens.
Each strip was adhered to a black cardstock strip measuring 2 1/2" x 5 1/2".
The Deco Diamonds background stamp was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Inks were applied over the embossed backgrounds for embossed resist. The extra ink was wiped away with a dry paper towel.
Each matted strip was adhered over a background as shown.
Each card was finished with a scattering of Simon Says Stamp Flamingo and Hello Summer sequins.

Welcome to the May Spellbinders Blog Hop featuring the new Becca Feeken and Debi Adams releases!
Today I'm using new sets from the Debi Adams Perfect Match release for this trio of fun, whimsical cards! The stamps and dies from these sets work together seamlessly to create the most adorable designs!
All three cards feature a Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Oval Die cut from a smooth white background and inked with Broken China Distress Oxide Distress ink before being spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and allowed to air dry.
The stork and baby from the set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating die. The image was secured to the card base with foam adheisve.
Clouds from the set were die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered with foam adhesive. The stars were die cut from Lawn Fawn Sticky Note and Sunflower cardstock, inked with Wild Honey Distress Ink and adhered to the design as shown.
The stars were finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops and additional iridescent star confetti was added to the design to finish the card.
Copic Markers Used:
Stork: W00, W1, W5, R00, YR01, YR04, C5, C8
Bag: R000, R11, R22
Baby: E00, E11
In addition to the Broken China Distress Oxide Inked background, a bit of Twisted Citron was used for this second card design. The greeting was stamped and embossed just like the card above.
Images from the Getting All Mushy Stamp and Die Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, die cut with the coordinating dies, and adhered to the design as shown.
Grass was die cut from Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock and inked with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink before being adhered among the cute mushrooms. The heart was finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops and a scattering of Honey Bee Stamps Be Mine Candy Hearts accents.
Copic Markers Used:
Red Topped Mushroom: R27, R46, YR31, YR23, YR27, E43, E44
For my last card share today, the greeting was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink (I thought the white embossing powder might get lost in the background so I opted for a darker sentiment).
The flour canister image from the Flour Power Stamp and Die Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating die.
The rolling pin was die cut from Paper Bag Cardstock, the top of the pie from Vanilla Malt Cardstock, the pie pan from Peacock Cardstock, and the hearts from Chili Pepper cardstock. The rolling pin and top of the pie were lightly inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink and faces from the stamp set were added to both. The images were adhered to the card as shown.
The hearts were finished with a layer of White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops.

For my first card share using the June 2018 kit, I'm watercoloring the gorgeous large floral image from the Beautiful Flowers Stamp Set and adding a simple gold inlay thin frame, dimensional gold sentiment, and gold embossed stamped greeting for this elegant friendship card.
A thin frame was die cut from the Tonic Gold Pearl Cardstock from the kit using the Simon Says Stamp Frames Die and also cut from the floral watercolored background. The watercolored frame was discarded and the outer frame, gold frame and center panel were adhered to a white side fold card base as shown.
The Painted Friend Die was die cut fromTonic Gold Pearl Cardstock and from Fun Foam backed on both sides with Stick It Adhesive. The greeting was adhered to the design as shown.

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!
Today I'm sharing a fun Distress Resist Spray technique with direct to paper inking that perfectly shows off the absolutely adorable Donut Treats stamp set and coordinating dies! I used every single image from the stamp set (they are just too cute!).
I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and sprayed the Distress Resist Spray all over the background and heated the spray to dry it quickly. You could also let it air dry if you have the time!
A greeting from the Donut Treat Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge of the background using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I purposely stamped the sentiment somewhere on the background with the least amount of Distress Resist Spray otherwise the background splatter will resist the inked greeting.
The images from the Donut Treats Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Donut Treats dies. The images were adhered tot he background as shown.

Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to be here today with this die cut terrarium and greenery card. Adding detail to die cuts with ink is one of the easiest ways to immediately add depth and dimension to the images. Popping some of the images up with foam adhesive and layering additional greenery behind the terrarium give this card added interest.
The background of the card was created by die cutting and embossing frames from dark gray cardstock using the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles. A sentiment was stamped and embossed on one of the panels and they were adhered to a white top fold card base as shown, trimming the excess to fit the card front.
The greenery was adhered to the background as shown and the terrarium was assembled and adhered with foam adhesive squares over the greenery at the top of the design to help it stand out.
The Hello Greeting from the Shapeabilities Simply Said Phrase Two Etched Dies was die cut from a light green metallic cardstock adhered to fun foam with Stick It Adhesive and adhered abovethe stamped and embossed sentiment.
The design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White and Morning Dew.

Hello there! Today I have a scene card using lots and lots of new stamps and dies from the newest release. Pinky the Pig is perfectly showcased with the new Farm Fence and Grass Border. Flowers from both the Pinky the Pig and Lily the Lamb stamp sets are perfectly accented against the fence. Little butterflies and a heart from Feelin' Foxy round out the sweet accents.
I built the scene from the background out. I inked a piece of A2 sized Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Greetings from the Ham It Up sentiment stamp set were stamped on the background with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and a red ink to highlight the cursive "hello".
A Grass Border was die cut from another piece of cardstock and inked with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink before being adhered to the background with foam adhesive strips. The Farm Fence was die cut three times and inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and adhered with foam adhesive. Clouds were die cut using Partly Cloudy Dies and also adhered with foam adhesive.
The images were adhered to the background scene as shown. Eyelashes were drawn on the eyes to give Pinky a more feminine flair!

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a couple of all die cut cards just in time for Mother's Day card making. The Woodland Critter Huggers are great all on their own as gift card holders but today I wanted to try something a little different and see how these cuties would work paired with my favorite Little Flowers Dies and Spring Sprig Dies. These florals are sized perfectly to work with the cute Woodland Critter Huggers and make the sweetest cards! Consider making all the critters (you can make a fox, squirrel, owl, reindeer, chipmunk, or raccoon) and creating a set of gift cards.
Detail was added to the images with a white pen and Glossy Accents was applied to the centers of all the flowers as shown.

Today I created a trio of cards featuring background stamping with water using the Family Tree Words background stamp over Distress Oxide inked backgrounds. The Distress Oxide Ink reacts with the water giving a subtle tone-on-tone text background that perfectly compliments the adorable silhouetted images from the Main Kit and the stamped and colored girl and swing from the Swing By Soon Add On.
From another panel of smooth white cardstock, one of the fancy window dies from the Main Kit was die cut from the center and inked with Lucky Clover and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks. I used a combination of the traditional ink blending tool and sponge daubers to ink the more intricate parts of the design. I was going for a more abstract look than perfection with these frames. ;)
Greetings from the Main Kit stamp set were stamped over the dry tone-on-tone background using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The frame was adhered over the background with foam adhesive.
The silhouette images from the Main Kit were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
My last card's background was created the same as the first two cards. This time I built a tree using the tree trunk and branches images from the Main Kit stamp set by stamping them directly on the background with Versafine Onxy Black Ink. Grass from the Main Kit stamp set was stamped along the bottom edge.
A greeting from the Swing By Soon Stamp Set was stamped on the background with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The girl, swing, and bear from Swing By Soon were stamped on smooth white cardstock with a black ink for Copic coloring, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.
A frame was die cut from another piece of smooth white cardstock using one of the fancy window dies from the Main Kit and adhered over the background. The colored images were adhered to the scene as shown and the design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Woodland Green and Gloss White.
