This trio of cards was inspired by THIS card HERE. Where the original card features stamping and lots of watercoloring, these cards feature the patterned paper from the kit and die cutting. These come together so fast and easy! My favorite thing about these cards is that no matter the theme or occasion, this design works. I used sentiments from the Beautiful Flowers Stamp Set for a thank you, birthday, and love themed card.
The patterned papers from the kit were trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and I used a Simon Says Stamp Frames Die to die cut a thin frame from each background. I also die cut the frame from Peacock Teal Cardstock, Cornflower Cardstock, and Gold Mirror Cardstock.
The outer frame, thin cardstock frame, and inner panel were adhered to a side fold card base.
Greetings from the Beautiful Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on each background with Versafine Onyx Black Ink as shown.
Butterflies were die cut from scraps of the patterned papers from the kit and vellum using the Adeline Butterfly, Stitching Butterflies, and Flickering Butterflies. The butterflies were scattered throughout the design as shown.
Pool Party Sequins were scattered throughout the design and the card was finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Duck Egg Blue and Simply White.
