I love that Lawn Fawn keeps adding to their amazing collection with Add On Sets! This extends the life of dies we already own and love. I used only dies form the Scalloped Treat Box Dog House Add On with the Scalloped Treat Box today to show just how much you get in this set. Enough to completely transform the treat box into a dog house!

Hello friends! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Book Worm Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I created a scene with these sweet images to look like a shelf or window seat with stacks of books and sweet critters. Let's get started!
I scored the smooth white background panel every 1/2" using a Scor Pal. Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass Cardstock was trimmed to 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered along the bottom edge of the background and then another thinner strip was trimmed and adhered with foam adhesive.
Images from the Book Worm Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies before being adhered to the scene with foam adhesive. Glossy Accents was placed on the critters with glasses and allowed to dry.

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!
Today I'm sharing a couple of adorable bookmarks created with the Book Worm Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Bookmark It Dies, and Good Reads Stamp Set! These new products work perfectly to create all kinds of awesome projects. These bookmarks are perfect to encourage some summer reading, don't you think?!!!
To create the bookmarks, I die cut each from two tones of cardstock using the Bookmark It Dies, darker for the front and lighter for the back. On each I used tone-on-tone stamping with images from the Book Worm Stamp Set and Good Reads Stamp Set to decorated the front of the bookmark. I masked off the scallop edges before stamping to give it a more polished, finished look.
Images from the Book Worm Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.
The images were adhered to the front panel of each book mark using Xyron Sticker Adhesive. I used this to give the back of each die cut full adhesive so it lays perfectly flush against the bookmark and won't catch on the pages!
A thought bubble from the Bookmark It Dies, was die cut from smooth white cardstock and customized with greetings from the Good Reads Stamp Set. The thought bubbles were also run through the Xyron Sticker Maker before being adhered to each bookmark.
The back panel of each bookmark was stamped with a phrase from the Good Reads Stamp Set and then the book mark panels were adhered back to back. Each bookmark was finished with coordinating thread at the top and Glossy Accents on the eyeglasses of each critter.

The fish from the 6"x8" One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and masked with my favorite masking paper. The Waves Stencil was stenciled over the masked fish using Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. Once the stencil was removed, I filled in the white areas with more ink from the ink blending tools and then spritzed the background with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel.
Once the background was dry, a greeting from the 6"x8" One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set was stamped on the background with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. An additional sentiment from the Messages For Everyday was stamped underneath the larger greeting using Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink.
The masks were removed and the fish colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The fish and bubbles were adorned with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White.

For both card backgrounds I started by stenciling the designs on Bristol Smooth Cardstock. For the underwater ocean scene I stenciled the Bubble Wave with Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. I gently inked over the stenciled design with the same colors of ink to "fill in" all the white areas and then spritzed the background with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted it dry.
For the tropical leaves background I first added Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink to the center of the background panel with a light hand, spritzed it with water from a Distress Sprayer and let it dry. I stenciled the Unbeleafable Stencil over the background with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks.
A mat was trimmed slightly larger than each stenciled background from a coordinating cardstock. Dies from the Oceans of Love Dies and Wingman Dies were used to die cut a "frame" or opening in each stenciled and cardstock mat background. Using the opening as a guide, images from the Oceans of Love and Wingman stamp sets were stamped on a piece of smooth white cardstock placed behind the layers.
The images were colored in with Copic Markers. A few additional images for each card were stamped on a separate piece of cardstock, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies before being adhered to each scene as shown.
Greetings from both the Oceans of Love and Wingman stamp sets were stamped on the same colors of cardstock the stenciled panels were matted on using embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiments were trimmed into thin strips and adhered to the cards with foam adhesive strips.
Each card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops or Glossy Accents and the bird's beak was finished with Glossy Accents and the Narwhal's horn was finished with White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops.
