Hello friends! I can't get enough of the One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set from the July 2018 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, can you?!!! Fantastic designs and sentiments perfect for summer. I couldn't pick just one image so I decided to make three inlay style cards today with three of the images from the stamp set and three greetings. The previously release Grid Frame was the perfect way to frame up my watercolored and embossed resist panels in the center of the design.
Sentiment strips were created with colorful cardstock and greetings from my favorite You Got This Stamp Set. The colorful sentiment strips compliment the color and design of the cards perfectly.
The frames for all three cards were die cut using the Grid Frame and adhered to the front of each card and inlaid with die cut pieces from other cardstock colors for a "tiled" frame look.
Images and sentiments from the One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock (also cut with the Grid Frame) using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The images were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the markers were also used with a water brush pen to created a wash to paint around the image and over the stamped and embossed sentiment for embossed resist.
Once dry, the panel was inlaid into the frame as shown.
Phrases from the You Got This Stamp Set were stamped on colored cardstock with clear embossing ink, embossed with white embossed powder, trimmed into thin strips, and adhered to the card with foam adhesive strips as shown.
Each card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops.
