Happy, happy Saturday!
Today I'm sharing another new card with the Simon Says Stamp July 2018 Card Kit, Cool Summer! This bright, happy kit is chock full of amazing goodness perfect for creating summertime cards! I am pairing the One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set from the kit (also available for individual purchase) with the Flamingo Die (available for individual purchase), and Summer Gold Sequin Mix (available for individual purchae) with the Clouds For Days Stencil and Waves and Hills Stencil for this layered stenciled scene card.
The Waves and Hills Stencil was used with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink to create the sandy "beach" along the bottom edge of the card design. The Clouds For Days Stencil was used on the upper part of the background to create the sky using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.
The sun from the One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set was stamped with Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, and Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The greeting was stamped with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink and the additional sentiment from Messages for Everyday was stamped with black ink.
The flamingos from the One Cool Pineapple Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Flamingo Die. The flamingos were adhered to the card and finished with Glossy Accents on their beaks.
Summer Gold Sequin Mix from the kit were scattered among the sky on the design to finish the card.
