Hello friends! Nichol here today with a soft and pretty wedding card. It's wedding season and I love having cards on hand ready to go for the joyous occasion! I watercolored the gorgeous Spring Blossoms with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and paired them with a stenciled background with the Hexi Pattern Backgrounds and sentiments from the Mr and Mrs Stamp Set and Mr and Mrs Dies.
A Hexi Pattern Backgrounds was used to create the soft distressed ink background on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. I spritzed water from a Distress Sprayer over the background and blotted it dry with a paper towel.
Once dry, I stamped phrases from the Mr and Mrs Stamp Set on the background using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The "Mr & Mrs" from the Mr and Mrs Dies
were die cut from Frosted Silver Cardstock and the layer from vellum, stacked and adhered as shown, and placed on the card under the stamped and embossed sentiments.
Flowers from the Spring Blossoms stamp set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The flowers and leaves were watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen. Once dry the images were die cut with the coordinating Spring Blossoms Dies.
The flowers were adhered along the bottom of the design with foam adhesive squares and the card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Pale Periwinkle and Morning Dew.
