The boxes were assembled as shown in the video tutorial. There are two different wing options, the wings sticking out from the body or the wings that wrap around the box. I've used both to show the versatility and how to create either style.
Finishing details for each treat box include a white pen for highlights on the eyes, a fine tip black pen for eyelashes, and stamping greetings from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On stamp set on the Tiny Tags using embossing ink and heat setting with white embossing powder. Ribbon wrapped around the box completes the designs.

To create my own patterned background from die cuts along the bottom of the card I first trimmed the new Lawn Fawn White Woodgrain Cardstock to 2.75" x 5.5". The apples and seeds from the Outside In Stitched Apples Dies and Stitched Apple Frames Dies were die cut from Chili Pepper, Noble Fir, Chocolate Bar, and Ground Coffee Cardstocks and adhered to the woodgrain background as shown. Any excess was trimmed from the sides and the panel was adhered to a white side fold card base.
Images from the So Owlsome stamp set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Jet Black ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were adhered along the top edge of the card as shown.
The Thanks Teacher Line Border was die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock and adhered along the top edge of the custom apple background. Additional greetings from the So Owlsome stamp set were stamped with black ink above the die cut sentiment.
Glossy Accents was applied to the glasses and the beaks of the owls. A white pen was used to add highlights and detail to the stamped and colored images to complete the card.

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Pick of the Patch Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Pick of the Patch Reveal Wheel Add On, and Spooky Fence Border Die. Today I created a card combining all the things because I kind of love Halloween everything. Fall is my favorite season! If you're not a Halloween person, I love that these pumpkins come blank and can be customized with faces. That way you can use them for fall and Thanksgiving cards, too!

I die cut the front panel of my card from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the Reveal Wheel Dies and Pick of the Patch Reveal Wheel Add On. I inked the front panel with Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. The background was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted dry with a paper towel. Once dry, greetings and stars from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set were stamped on the panel with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The frame from the was die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock and adhered around the Reveal Wheel opening.
The Reveal Wheel was colored in with Copic Markers and then stamped with jack-o-lantern faces from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set . The Reveal Wheel was assembled (as shown in the video) and adhered to a white top fold card base. "Turn Me" from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments stamp set was stamped on the card base to show the card recipient to turn the wheel to reveal all the adorable jack-o-lantern faces!
Pumpkins and accessories from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The leaves and additional solid images were stamped with Cilantro Ink. All the images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered along the bottom edge of the card as shown.
Details were added to the images with a white pen and iridescent mini star confetti were added to the sky to finish the card.
Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the Double Slider Surprise Dies in action! These highly anticipated dies are so cool! See you then!

White pen detail was added to the hair on the mermaid's hair and a black pen was used to add detail to all the eyes. Bubbles were stamped on the background and embellished with Glosssy Accents.
The Treasure Chest Sequins were adhered to the background with Ranger Multi Matte Medium. Greetings from the Beautiful Mermaids Stamp Set were stamped with the clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

When created a masked card you want to start by stamping the images that need masking. I stamped a mermaid, fish, turtle, and seaweed from the Beautiful Mermaids 6x8 Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I stamped the images again on masking paper, cut them masks out and adhered them over the images.
White pen detail was added to the mermaid's hair and the seaweed. Black pen detail was added to the eyes to really make them pop.
A greeting from the Beautiful Mermaids 6x8 Stamp Set was stamped with the clear embossing ink included in the kit and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Big Friend die was die cut from the Aqua Glitter Cardstock from the kit and the shadow of the word was die cut from white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive. The greetings were layered and adhered above the stamped and embossed phrase as shown to finish the design.

Hello friends! Today I've got another fun die cut scene card to share with you showcasing some of my favorite Picture Book Dies from the recent Simon Says Stamp Friendly Frolic Release! The Picture Book Stegosaurus, Picture Book Pterodactyl, and Picture Book Brontosaurus are all perfectly framed up with the new Leafy Frame Die for this prehistoric scene! In addition to today's card, I've linked to all my projects where I've used dies from the Picture Book Collection at the bottom of this post. There is so many things you can do with these fun dies! I hope it inspires you to try die cutting and paper piecing with Picture Book dies!
For the background of my card, I used the Simon Says Stamp Clouds For Days Stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Ink to create the cloudy sky background on Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Leafy Frames were die cut from two shades of green cardstock and the top frame was rotated so that the frames don't line up perfectly. We're going for a layered effect for the illusion of more depth and dimension.
Sentiments from the Lawn Fawn Costume Party Stamp Set were stamped directly on the background with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. This is the only stamping on the card! Everything else is created with dies! Love completely die cut cards!
Don't forget to add details like white pen highlights, Nuvo Crystal Drops, and Glossy Accents to really make your Picture Book critters shine!
