I love creating multiple cards while I have supplies out. I challenged myself to use the same supplies and design to create two completely different colored cards. One card is bright and colorful and one in more muted tones. The Simon Says Stamp Center Cut Flowers Background is the perfect starting point for these watercolored gratitude cards.

Whether you love bright, rainbow colors or elegant pinks/golds, these exact same stamps work! How awesome is that?!!! I love how you get two completely different looks with the same things.
The Center Cut Flowers Background was stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with either white embossing powder or Antique Gold Embossing Powder. The flowers were watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a medium water brush pen.
Once completely dry, a phrase from the Uplifting Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped in the center of the frame. On the rainbow floral frame, I used Simon Says Stamp Mint Candy Ink, on the elegant pink/gold card I stamped the greeting with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with the same Antique Gold Embossing Powder used for the floral frame.
Another phrase from the You Got This Stamp Set was stamped on cardstock colors to match each card using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The phrases were trimmed into thing strips and adhered to each card with foam adhesive.
The designs were both finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in colors to match each card.
