My first project today is a holiday card featuring the new Animal Box Topper Dies! These cuties were colored with Copic Markers and adhered to appear to be hanging over the top of the Stitches Cover Plate. They are so unique and I love these....
The Stitches Cover Plate was die cut form a piece of smooth white cardstock, trimmed to 3 1/4" x 4 1/4", inked with Bundled Sage and Forest Moss Distress Oxide Ink and adhered along the bottom edge of a white top fold card base as shown. A 1/4" x 4 1/4" white cardstock strip was adhered along the top edge of the stitched panel.
The deer and polar bear from the Animal Box Topper Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers. The images were assembled as shown and adhered to the card panel. The hooves and paws were adhered directly to the card base and the faces adhered with foam adhesive squares. Glossy Accents was applied to the noses of both critters.
Greetings from the Bear Ware 2 Stamp Set were stamped on black cardstock with Versamark, heat embossed with white embossing powder, trimmed into thin strips and adhered over the Stitches Cover Plate panel with 1/8" Scor Tape.
A heart from the Home & Hearth Die Set was die cut, colored and adhered below the sentiments before being finished with a layer of Glossy Accents.
The House Box Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn Paper Bag Cardstock and stamped with the roof, door, and window images from the Ginger House Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
The door and windows were colored in with Polychromos Colored Pencils and the house was assembled and secured with 1/8" Scor Tape.
Images from the Ginger House Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were adhered to the box as shown and Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were applied to the gumdrops and candy canes for a sparkly, candy finish!
The sentiment from the Ginger House Stamp Set was trimmed into a tag, a hole punched in the top and tied to the treat box with pretty twine.
