I've created a set of four cards today featuring the Main Kit, Coloring Layering Red Panda Stamps and Dies, Textures Leaves Stamp Set and Dies, Ornate Floral Stencil, and Patterned Lanterns Bold Print background. The base for all four designs are custom painted backgrounds with Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors and Glimmer Metallic Inks.
The first two card samples feature stamps and dies from the Main Kit. Backgrounds were painted with Hero Arts Liquid Watercolor in Moss and Metallic Glimmer Inks in Bronze, Copper, and Gold. Once dry, the Patterned Lanterns Bold Print background was stamped over the glimmery backgrounds for a subtle pattern.
The Textured Leaves Add On Stamp Set was used to stamp leaves over the Patterned Lanterns Bold Print background on the second background for a third layer of stamping/inking.
Sentiments from the Main Kit were stamped over the backgrounds with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with the Red Embossing Powder included in the Main Kit.
Images from the Main Kit were stamped on watercolor cardstock with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder, and watercolored with Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors before being die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to each card as shown.
The Color Layering Red Panda Stamp Set was used for my third card. The bamboo, grass, and a sentiment from the stamp set were stamped over another custom background using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The images were watercolored and allowed to air dry.
The frame die from the Main Kit was die cut from another panel. Droplets of Liquid Watercolor in Moss were splattered over the frame panel and the leaves were inked with more Moss Liquid Watercolor to deepen the color.
The frame was adhered with foam adhesive squares and the red panda was stamped with Hero Arts Caramel, Cup O'Joe, and Just Rust Ink before being die cut with the coordinating die and adhered to the scene as shown.
For my final card share today, I used the Ornate Floral Stencil to apply Opaque White Texture Paste over a painted background. Once dry, I trimmed it and adhered it along the bottom edge of a white side fold card base.
A sentiment from the Main Kit was stamped and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder along the top edge.
Leaves from the Textured Leaves Stamp Set were stamped in Caramel, Cup O' Joe, Just Rust, Pumpkin Pie, and Forever Green and then die cut with the coordinating dies. The leaves were adhered with foam adhesive and the design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops.
