I am a big fan of the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month and Large Die of the Month Club Kits. If you're looking to invest in an awesome monthly die club, this is it! I love having fun dies show up in my mailbox each month. And this month's dies... Halloween! So excited to share with you what I made using both the Small Die of the Month Club Kit and Large Die of the Month Club Kits. I made two cards and an easy little tea light holder! How much fun are the dies for this month?!!!
If you love both club kits, you can subscribe to the value club kit that includes both the small and large die of the month kits HERE.

The backgrounds for both cards were stamped with the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Spider Web background stamp using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. White pigment ink was applied around the edges of the spider web to distress the design a bit. White opaque ink was watered down and splattered over the background for additional distressing.
The Happy Haunting Card was created with die cuts from the Small Die of the Month Club Kit. The spooky eyes were created by inking smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat set with Glow In the Dark Embossing Powder. In the light, the eyes merely look like slightly yellowish spots but in the dark.... they glow! Soooooo cool!!!!
The sentiment strip was created by stamping a phrase from the Bwahaha Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, trimming the phrase into a thin strip and adhering under the glittery die cut greetings.
The second card was created using a combination of Small Die of the Month Club Kit and Large Die of the Month Club Kits. I love that you can use the fun squares from the Large Die of the Month Kit to make the lantern or to make other projects. So versatile! The skull brackets from the Small Die of the Month were used to frame up the spooky jack-o-lantern square.
The lantern was assembled using all four panels of the Large Die of the Month Club Kit Dies. The panels were die cut from black cardstock and backed with die cut vellum squares.
A battery operated tea light lights up the lantern perfectly! And look at those spooky eyes from the first card! They're glowing!
