Welcome to the Heffy Doodle Release Blog Hop!
Today I have a holiday-themed scene card to share with you featuring several new products from the October Heffy Doodle Release. I've combined the new Wanna Build A Snowman Stamps and Dies with the Forest Builder Dies and Imperial Stitched Rectangles Dies for this playful winter scene card.

Watch the creation of this holiday scene card from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
The background of this card started as an A2 panel inked with Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks and then splattered with Picket Fence Distress Paint for the illusion of falling snow. Once the paint is dry, the background was die cut with an Imperial Stitched Rectangles Die. Both the frame and center panel are going to be used to keep the overall scene but adds a little decorative edge to the design.
The Forest Builder Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Pine Needles and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks, assembled and adhered to the background.
Greetings from the Wanna Build A Snowman Stamps were stamped along the bottom edge of the center panel with black ink and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
Images from the Wanna Build A Snowman Stamps were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Wanna Build A Snowman Dies.
More Picket Fence Distress Paint was splattered over the trees and scene because I felt like it really made the scene more realistic.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard was applied to the snowman, snowballs, and stars for a glittery, shimmery finish. Glossy Accents was applied to the penguin's feet and beaks.
