Hello friends! Saturday for World Card Making Day I challenged myself to create cards using only the Spellbinders October 2018 Card Kit of the Month. By limiting myself to the supplies from the kit (the kit is jam-packed), I was able to make six cards in record time and I can't wait to show you the amazing results!

Here's a little peek at the six cards I created with the kit.
The gorgeous die cuts in this kit? Oh my gosh, y'all, they are stunning! Five of my cards feature just a fraction of the dies from the kit. There's two of each in the kit. I'm a big fan of lots of dies collaged for maximum impact!
I trimmed down patterned papers from the kit into strips and adhered them to the card bases (also included in the kit). Each strip was framed up with mirrored with foil cardstock strips. All the greeting strips, dies, etc. are from the kit. I used some Fun Foam and Stick It Adhesive from my stash to secure the foil cardstock before die cutting with the "celebrate" and adhering it to the one card.
I created another floral card with a dimensional die cut sentiment but this time used a sticker phrase strip instead of a die cut strip. The stickers are also from the kit! The row of houses is the sweetest scene. More sticker phrases were combined with a die cut greeting strip. I added some heart accents from my stash on this one.
My final share today features the dies from the kit and the cardstocks in the kit. Isn't this the sweetest scene? I absolutely adore these dies. I used the heart accents from my stash again to embellish the card and also a greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Stamp Set.

Holiday gift packaging is always one of my most favorite projects to create! The latest stamps and dies from The Stamp Market's October 2018 Release are perfect for all kinds of gift giving, card-making, and paper crafting projects!
First, the Scalloped Gift Box Die is the perfect size for tucking small gifts or treats inside! Imagine wrapping it all up in cellophane and handing out goodies to neighbors, family, and friends! Depending on how you adorn this box, it can be used year-round for gift giving!
For the green box, I stamped snowflakes from the Merry Days Stamp Set all over the box with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and assembled as shown.
The box is adorned with a stamped candy cane from the No Peeking Stamp Set and a Made With Love Tag. Some twine wrapped around the box and the assembled bow from the set complete this cute design.
My second Scalloped Gift Box Die was stamped with the Perfect Polka Dot Background Stamp using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder before being adorned with the new Gold Metallic Ribbon, assembled bow, a stamped Made With Love Tag, and stamped and embossed leaves from the No Peeking Stamp Set!
I mixed in some previously released product with new releases for these tags and gift card holder.
The Gift For You Bag was stamped with clear embossing ink using the Perfect Polka Dot Background and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being assembled. Trees from the Merry Days Stamp Set were stamped and embossed before being die cut and adhered to the front of the gift bag. The tag from Gift For You was stamped with a sentiment from the Merry Days Stamp Set and tied to the bag handle with twine as shown.
The No Peeking Ornament makes a great gift tag like I have shown here but also a fantastic scrapbook page or card embellishment!
This littler banner of stockings was created by stamping stocking and a greeting from the Merry Days Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock, die cutting with the coordinating dies, and threading them all onto some thin string. Easy and cute. This can be added to a scrapbook page, card, or used on a mini tree, etc.! So many possibilities!

Today I'm sharing a couple of card ideas on using the incredible new Pull-tab Pop Up Tree, Stamp Set, and Pull-tab Tree Pop-up Add On. These are amazing y'all. You can create some really fantastic holiday scenes and interactive designs with these great dies!
The background of my card was inked the Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks, leaving the bottom of the panel white for "snow". Water from a Distress Sprayer was spritzed over the panel and blotted dry with a paper towel to give the illusion of falling snow.
The Pull-tab Pop Up Tree and Pull-tab Tree Pop-up Add On elements were all die cut from white cardstock (the star was die cut from Gold Glitter Cardstock and the circle was die cut from Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper Cardstock). The tree pieces were inked with Crushed Olive and Forest Moss Distress Inks and spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer for a snowy "outdoors" look. The pull tabs were left white.
The tree was assembled according to the video tutorial directions and adhered to the card base background.
A sentiment from the Christmas Tree Stamp Set was stamped in the upper right corner of the card with clear embossing ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
The mice images from the Hello Pumpkin Stamp Set and the stars from the Yippee Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, die cut with the coordinating dies, and adhered to the card as shown. The stars were finished with a layer of Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry were added to the tree for "ornaments" to finish the card.
The background of the card was created the same as the first card. This time for the tree, I stamped the "joy" tree image from the Christmas Tree Stamp Set with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Oxide Inks before die cutting the pop up with the Pull-tab Pop Up Tree dies. The rest of the sentiments was stamped with Forest Moss Distress Oxide Ink, the tree was assembled according to the video tutorial and adhered to the background as shown. A gold glitter cardstock star adorns the top of the tree and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry finish off the tree!
The kid and star images from the Yippee Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies before being adhered behind and on the tree as shown to complete the scene. The stars were finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White were added to the "sky" to add additional "falling snow".
I hope this interactive pop up tree cards have inspired you to try your own Christmas pop up tree cards! Have a great day!

While you can create cards for all the seasons with the Truckin' Through the Seasons Large Die of the Month Club Kit Dies, I made three today: a Christmas card, a fall/Thanksgiving card, and a summertime vacation card. Y'all, I couldn't love this die set more. Truly. How absolutely adorable is this truck?!!!!! I want to make all the seasonal cards with it!
As summer is giving way to autumn here in the midwest USA I decided to create one last summer-themed card with this awesome beach themed truck. That gorgeous beachy patterned paper? That is from the Spellbinders October Card Kit of the Month. I knew I wanted to keep the focus on the die cut truck but still be really intentional with my paper choices to help "tell the story".
The strip was trimmed to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and matted on a glitter cardstock (this one is from the Hero Arts October Card Kit of the Month) before being adhered to a white top fold card base as shown.
The truck dies and accessories were die cut from regular cardstocks, mirror cardstocks, assembled as shown, and the beachball was finished with a layer of Glossy Accents.
The strip was trimmed to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and matted on a glitter cardstock (this one is from the Lawn Fawn Holiday Sparkle collection) before being adhered to a white top fold card base as shown.
The truck dies and accessories were die cut from regular cardstocks, mirror cardstocks, and assembled as shown.
The patterned paper for the fall/Thanksgiving truckin' card are also from the Spellbinders October Card Kit of the Month. The soft orange of this pattern compliments the orange/white pumpkins and navy truck!
The strip was trimmed to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and matted on a mirror cardstock (this one is from the Spellbinders October Card Kit of the Month) before being adhered to a white top fold card base as shown.
The truck dies and accessories were die cut from regular cardstocks, mirror cardstocks, and assembled as shown.

For this first card, I masked the bottom edge of the an A2 size piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and inked the top part of the background with Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks and then inked up the Delicate Snowflake Bold Print with the same to inks for a tone-on-tone effect.
The "ice" from the Main Kit was stamped directly on the background and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers before being painted with a thin layer of the Iridescent Ink.
Images from the Main Kit were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.
A sentiment and snowflakes from the Main Kit were stamped on the dry background (make sure you either let the background air dry completely or hit it with a heat tool to speed up the drying time) were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.
Polar White Flower Soft was adhered to parts of the tree to resemble "snow" and the images were adhered to the scene with a combination of a tape runner of foam adhesive. The foam adhesive on the deer, boy, girl, and birds give some added dimension to this scene card!
For my second scene card I used several of the same images but changed to a portrait style card and switched out the boy and girl ice skaters for a different skating girl image.
I inked up the background with Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks before stamping the Delicate Snowflake Bold Print with the same to inks for a tone-on-tone effect.
Images from the Main Kit were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.
A sentiment from the Stacking Snowflakes Stamp Set was stamped below the scene with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and snowflakes from the Main Kit were stamped on the dry background were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.
The rest of the design was finished exactly the same as the first scene card!
My third card share today features a similar background with layered embossing on top for this classic design.
The background was inked with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Inks before being stamping the Graphic Snowflake Bold Print over the inked background using the same two colors of Distress Ink.
Phrases from the Peace, Love, Joy Stamp Set were stamped on Lawn Fawn Chili Powder Cardstock with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, trimmed into this strips and adhered as shown.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red adorn the center of the snowflakes in the background to complete the design.

The "snow" effect inside the card was created by flicking watered down Picket Fence Distress Paint over the inside of the card for the illusion of falling snow.
