Creative blocks can be a pain to work through. I tend to get them when I've been away from my supplies for several days but it can happen anytime. Nothing is worse than when you have time to create and you sit and stare at your supplies! Creative blocks happen to everyone and one of my favorite ways to get past them is to create a card based on another card. Most of the time I will make a card based on one of my past cards that I love. It's always a good way of working through a block. Another way is to create a card inspired by a friend or designer. Today I wanted to share a card created using a design that my friend, Jennifer McGuire, made awhile back (HERE). Please remember whenever you create a card lifted or inspired by another designer that you give credit to that designer and that you ask permission to share. :) I'm sharing a single design here today but if you want to see lots and lots of amazing alcohol lift ink designs, please be sure to check out Jennifer's blog post HERE. Thanks Jennifer!

This card was created with components from the November 2018 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit and a few supplies from my stash!
For the alcohol inked background I applied Valencia, Butterscotch, Honeycomb, Terra Cotta, and Gold Mixative Alcohol Inks to Yupo Cardstock, adding Blending Solution as needed and let the inks dry completely. Leaves from the Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set were stamped over the background with Alcohol Lift Ink for the beautiful, yet subtle fall leaves background.
A frame was die cut from some of the Ivory Cardstock included in the kit using the Repeating Circles Die.
The Thankful Die was die cut from Gold Glitter Cardstock and adhered to an Ivory Cardstock shadow die cut. The sentiment was adhered with foam adhesive. Another greeting from the Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set was stamped on Orange Peel Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat set with Antique Gold Embossing Powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and adhered with foam adhesive.
Butterflies Adornments from the kit were inked with Alcohol Inks and once dry adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
The design was finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Copper Penny and Pale Gold.
