Hello. I'm over on the Simon Says Stamp blog today with a set of simple embossed leaves backgrounds cards featuring the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit. The gorgeous Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set included in the kit is perfect for creating fall and Thanksgiving themed cards!

The cardstock and stamp set from the kit were used for this trio of fall-themed cards below. The Distress Oxide Inks and Nuvo Crystal Drops are from my stash.
Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder was used to emboss a sentiment and leaves from the Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set. Distress Oxide Inks in Aged Mahogany and Fired Brick were applied over the Orange Peel Cardstock for depth and dimension. A Distress Sprayer was spritzed over the background and blotted dry with a paper towel. The oxidation allows the original color of the cardstock to show though the inking. An additional sentiment from the Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set was stamped on the Desert Storm Cardstock and embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the background with foam adhesive.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Auburn Pearl, Copper Penny, Autumn Red, and Gloss White were added to the design.
Hero Arts Brass Embossing Powder was used on the Green Leaf Cardstock for my second card. Distress Oxide Inks in Forest Moss and Gathered Twigs were applied over the cardstock. Like the first card a Distress Sprayer was spritzed over the background and blotted dry with a paper towel. The oxidation allows the original color of the cardstock to show though the inking. An additional sentiment from the Thanks and Leaves Stamp Set was stamped on the Desert Storm Cardstock and embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder before being trimmed into a thin strip and adhered to the background with foam adhesive.

My final card share today featuring Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder embossed images on Desert Storm Cardstock. Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Inks were applied over the Desert Storm Cardstock and finished exactly like the first two cards.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Auburn Pearl, Copper Penny, Autumn Red, and Gloss White were added to the design.
