The Simon Says Stamp December 2018 Card Kit, Holiday Cheer!
A couple of weeks ago I shared quick and easy cards made from pre-cuts and patterned paper from another card kit and I had so many requests to keep sharing more of these cards for those of you who are beginners and for those who are feeling the heat of the holiday season deadlines quickly approaching and want beautiful, thoughtful handmade cards to give but need to get lots of them made up quickly. Today I decided to use the stickers from the December Card Kit with patterned papers, and quick stamping (that could be left out to save even more time) and only used a bit of Nuvo Crystal Drops from my stash to add some sparkle to my cards. The end result is four cards made in minimal time! I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed putting them together (those deer are adorable!!!).

Here's a look at all four cards I made using pre-made stickers and patterned papers included in the kit. Awesome, right? Aren't these vintage-looking stickers amazing?!!!
My first two cards feature the same style of "scene" but one is portrait and one is landscape. Yes, you can create scene cards with pre-mades! Yay! I used blue patterned papers from the kit that looked like falling snow and adhered them to white top fold or side fold card bases. White cardstock from the kit was die cut with a Drifting Stitches Die and adhered along the bottom edge of each background.
Sentiments from the Christmas Cheer Stamp Set were stamped along the snowy edge of both cards with Surf Blue Dye Ink. The ink color makes a huge difference here. If I had gone with basic black ink I think it would have taken away from the overall style of the card. Always be on the lookout for things you can do that will tie your card together in a more cohesive fashion.
Snowflakes from the stamp set were stamped in the "sky" with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The stickers from the kit were adhered to each design as shown. Each card was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard as well as adding glitter to parts of the stickers.
The next two cards feature patterned paper and cardstock backgrounds divided by a thin piece of cardstock stamped with a small sentiment phrase. Again, I used the vintage-y feeling stickers from the kit and additional stamped messages from the Christmas Cheer Stamp Set.
I created red and green backgrounds (pretty traditional Christmas, yes?!) with red patterned paper on the top of each background and green cardstock (also from the kit) along the bottom edge. White cardstock from the kit was used to divide the two and stamped with greetings from the Tiny Words Christmas Stamp Set using black dye ink.
Greetings from the Christmas Cheer Stamp Set. were stamped on the green cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were applied to parts of the stickers to finish each card.
