Hello! I'm super excited to share this trio of Stitching Trees cards with you today. This Stitching Trees die is perfect for providing a template for creating amazing stitched trees! I am sharing a couple of more traditional trees (red and green) and one more modern (rainbow) all adorned with layered sequins and seed beads and finished with gold embossed sentiments. Let's get started!

Watch the creation of these stitching trees cards from start to finish below or click HERE to watch in HD:
All three card feature panels die cut using a Stitched Rectangles Die and then the Stitching Tree Die. One panel uses Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Cardstock, one used Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper Cardstock, and the last one used Neenah Smooth White Cardstock.
Each tree was stitched with crochet thread from my stash. All my crochet thread was purchased from Hobby Lobby. The red background features white thread, the green background features white/gold thread, and the rainbow features nine different colors of crochet thread!
The front of each card base was stamped with "Christmas Blessings" from the Tiny Words Christmas Stamp Set using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
The inside of each card base was stamped with a phrase from the Christmas Wishes Stamp Set using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
Each Stitching Tree was embellished with a gold glitter cardstock die cut star from the Large Holiday Shapes Dies. This not only finishes off the top of the tree beautifully but it hides the top of the tree which didn't look great with the particular stitching! ;)
Sequins and seed beads were sewn on using a small beading needle. If you don't want to sew I suggest gluing sequins, beads, or other embellishments to the tree or leave it plain for an even more clean and simple look!
Each stitched panel was popped up with foam adhesive on the card front to finish the design.
