Hello! I've been sharing some Valentine cards here recently and today I wanted to share an idea for a Valentine's gift bag. Y'all know how much I love creating gift tags, bags, and gift packaging around the holidays and I really like creating these pretties all year long! One of my personal favorite gift bags from the holiday season was THIS stenciled gift bag with monogram tag. I wanted to use that same Gift Bag with some of the new Valentine products for a love-themed gift bag and I absolutely love the results!

I can't stop using Mae the Mouse. I'm not really a mouse fan unless they are a stamp! ha! This little cutie is so perfect for hearts and flowers cards.

The Gift Bag was die cut from Fog Cardstock using the Gift Bag dies. Before adhering the two side together I added eyelets to the holes in the bag. I adhered the bag sides together with 1/4" Scor Tape. Wide yarn ribbon was thread through the holes and knotted on the inside to create handles on either side or the bag. The "tissue paper" for the inside of the bag was die cut from Woodgrain Cardstock and inserted into the gift bag.
Hearts were die cut from patterned paper and smooth white cardstock using the Stacking Hearts Dies and Scalloped Hearts Dies. The hearts were layered and adhered to the front of the gift bag using foam adhesive. The foam adhesive helps the large hearts lay nicely over the thick straps of the gift bag.
Mae the Mouse, a heart, rose, and envelope were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and colored in with ZIg Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
Mouse: Beige, Light Beige, Blender, Pink Haze
Envelope: Turquoise Green, Green Shadow, Blender, Red Carmine, Pink Flamingo
Heart: Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Blender
Rose: Red Carmine, Pink Flamingo, Blender, Light Green, Yellow Green
The images were die cut with the coordinating Mae the Mouse Dies and adhered to the front of the gift bag/hearts as shown.
Greetings from the Brie Mine Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Ballet Slippers and Guava Inks and die cut into a banner shape with the Banner Builder Dies. The banner was secured to the front of the bag to look like the mouse is holding the banner and Valentine's goodies.
Candy Hearts in Kiss Me and Hug Me were adhered to finish the design.
