The fresh, fun colors from the Super Chill Card Kit of the Month speak right to my summer-loving heart! I created six cards with mainly pre-made dies cuts and patterned papers, two that feature the exclusive dies from the kit, and two that incorporate the Large Die of the Month Club Kit Dies!
This card features the gorgeous wildflowers patterned paper from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad matted on gold foil cardstock strips down each side, and finished with Super Chill Die Cut Shapes. The larger die cuts were popped up with foam adhesive for dimension. This card literally came together in minutes and I love the results!!!
Grouping like items together is my favorite way to use the pre-made die cut shapes. For this next card I grouped the donut shapes with a party hat and two die cut words for a "spectacular" birthday card! The pink polka dot patterned paper from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad was matted with gold foil cardstock strips down each side, and finished with the Super Chill Die Cut Shapes and sequins from the kit.
This grouping of die cut shapes says "refreshing", don't you agree?!!! The mint and white striped patterned paper from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4", the dies from the Super Chill Die Cut Shapes were grouped and adhered as shown, and the design was finished with sequins from the kit.
Rainbows on rainbows is the theme for this next card! The rainbow rays patterned paper from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/2" and adhered to the white card base from the kit, the dies from the Super Chill Die Cut Shapes were grouped and adhered as shown, and the design was finished with sequins from the kit.
More grouping like items together makes this birthday candles card shine! Two patterned papers from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad were trimmed and layered with gold foil cardstock breaking up the two patterns, the Super Chill Die Cut Shapes were adhered with foam adhesive, a phrase sticker was adhered below the banner, and Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were used to add sparkle to the flames on the candles.
My final "all pre-mades" card share is an homage to Disneyworld and Mickey! My family just got back from a vacation there and so I used three of the circle Super Chill Die Cut Shapes to create a Mickey head. Sentiments were layered over the center and sequins from the kit finish the design. The mint and white striped Super Chill 6x6 paper pad was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4" for the background.
While this card still features several of the Super Chill Die Cut Shapes I also incorporated the exclusive dies from the Card Kit by die cutting them from Super Chill 6x6 paper pad, white cardstock, and gold foil cardstock, assembling each as shown, and adhering to the background with foam adhesive. A die cut greeting overlaying the candles is the perfect subtle touch!
Another exclusive to the kit is the balloon animal dies! I die cut the pieces from the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad, pink stripe patterned paper, assembled the layering pieces with foam adhesive, and adhered the balloon animal on another patterned paper background. Greetings were added using Super Chill Die Cut Shapes and gold foil hearts were die cut using a Large Die of the Month Club Kit Die.
The slider dies from the Large Die of the Month Club Kit Dies! were used with the Super Chill 6x6 paper pad patterned papers, Super Chill Die Cut Shapes, vellum, stickers, and card bases from the kit for the last two cards. Be sure and watch the video tutorial to see how easy it is to assemble these awesome interactive designs!
I couldn't stop with just one card and had to go ahead and make another one!!!
