The MFT Slider Surprise was used to die cut the front panel for the card from one of the patterned papers from the kit. In addition to the front panel and the "pull" tab panel, which were die cut, I also trimmed the following papers to create the center panel of the Slider Surprise:
- 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" white cardstock
- 2 - 1/2" x 2 3/4" green patterned paper strips
On the white panel I stamped the panda and gift images from the Party Like A Panda Stamp Set and colored in the images as well as the background with Copic Markers. The following marker combinations were used to color in this crying cutie:
- Panda: W00, W1, W5, R00
- Background: BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05, Colorless Blender
- Party Hat: YG21, YG17, R35, B23, RV55
- Balloon: Y08, Y19
- Presents: RV52, RV55, RV66, B23, B24, B26, R35, R37, R39, YG21, YG17, Y08, Y19, YR01, YR04, YR07
Once the images were colored, sentiments from the Party Like A Panda Stamp Set were stamped along the top of the panel with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The panel was adhered to the bottom edge only of the Slider Surpriese and the two green strips were adhered as shown.
The pull tab was adhered to the back of the Slider Surprise Window and stamped with the "pull" sentiment from the Interactive Labels Stamp Set.
Using the Slider Surprise Die as a guide, I marked the window opening on another piece of smooth white cardstock and stamped the panda and balloons from the Party Like A Panda Stamp Set before coloring in the images as well as the background with Copic Markers. The following marker combinations were used to color in this crying cutie:
- Panda: W00, W1, W5, R00
- Background: BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05, Colorless Blender
- Bow: R35, R37, R39
- BalloonS: R35, R37, R39, RV52, RV55, RV66
Another sentiment from the Party Like A Panda Stamp Set was stamped on the background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Glossy Accents was applied to parts of the panda's faces and the balloons and allowed to completely air dry.
The Slider Surprise was adhered over the inside panel with foam adhesive and the entire thing was adhered to a white top fold card base.
