I created a trio of rainbow school-themed clipboard cards with the dies from the Large Die of the Month Club Kit and the Small Die of the Month Club Kit (greetings).
Don't need school-themed cards? Change out the greetings for encouragement, birthday, friendship, thank you, etc. Clipboards and office supplies can work for so many occasions!
For this first card I die cut the clipboard shaped card from a white top fold card base. I also used the card die to die cut black/gray Doodlebug patterned paper that I adhered to the front of the card base. The clip was die cut from Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock, assembled, and adhered to the top of the clipboard card base. The card will fit a standard A2 sized envelope in spite of the clip hanging off the top of the card base! Yay!
The "paper" was die cut from a Really Rainbow Patterned Paper and adhered to the clipboard.
The scissors were die cut from Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock and FSJ Candy Apple Cardstock. The scissors handles and blades were glued together and a mini brad was used to connect the pieces. The scissors actually move! How fun is that?!!!!
The pencils were die cut from FSJ Haystack, Banana Cream, Rock Candy, Rustic Rose, and Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock, assembled and adhered to the background.
The paper clip was die cut from Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock.
The pen was die cut from Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock and FSJ Turbo Teal Cardstock*.
The sentiment from the Small Die of the Month Club Kit was die cut from FSJ Candy Apple Cardstock, Orange Creamsicle, Pineapple Smoothie, Limeade Splash, Turbo Teal*, and Lavender Fusion cardstock.
A stamped sentiment was added under the die cut greeting using a phrase from the Simon Says Stamp School Days Stamp Set.
For this second card I die cut the clipboard shaped card from a white top fold card base. I used the card die to die cut Really Rainbow Patterned Paper that I adhered to the front of the card base. The clip was die cut from Polished Gold Cardstock, assembled, and adhered to the top of the clipboard card base.

For my third card a Honey Bee Stamps Over the Rainbow patterned paper was used for the clipboard base. A text paper from my stash was used for the paper on the clipboard.
