Happy Thursday friends! Today I'm sharing this trio of interactive slider surprise sweetie pie critter cutie cards featuring lots and lots of fun MFT Stamps stamps and dies, my favorite Simon Says Stamp Heart Garland Background, and Simon Says Stamp dye inks. The design was inspired by the brand new Sweet As Pie paper pieced pie. I had hoped it would work scale-wise with the critter cuties and when it did, I was tickled pink! These cards are perfect for Valentine's and beyond. Keep reading for all the details!

These critter cuties holding a pie are the perfect cover to my favorite Slider Surprise interactive cards!
The Slider Surprise cover and pull tab were die cut from smooth white cardstock. The panels were inked with the following Simon Says Stamp dye inks and ink blending brushes:
- (Raccoon Card): Hot Lips & Watermelon
- (Piggy Card): Rose Apple & Hot Lips
- (Bunny Card): Rosie Cheeks & Rose Apple
The same ink colors were used to stamp the Simon Says Stamp Heart Garland Background over the inked panel for a great tone-on-tone design.
The Slider Surprise is slightly smaller than A2 size. A background for each card was trimmed from smooth white cardstock, measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
Greetings from the MFT Stamps Sweetie Pie and Smitten With You stamp sets was stamped on the background panel as shown.
The Slider Surprise pull tab was adhered to the back of the front panel along the bottom edge only. An interactive word from the Interactive Labels Stamp Set was stamped along the top with Black Ink to let the recipient know the card is interactive!
The MFT Little Piggy Die-namics was die cut from Hero Hues Peony Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Guava Cardstock. The edges of the die cuts were inked with the blending brush for added dimension to the piggy. Additional color was added to the cheeks with a Tim Holtz Detail Blending Brush.
The Sweet As Pie paper pieced pie was added to the pig with it's arms wrapped around to appear to be holding it. I can't wait to see what other dies I have that can be used with these cute critters!
The pig was paper pieced and adhered only to the bottom half of the sliding mechanism as shown.
