Hello friends! I'm so excited to share three brand new foiled cards with Yana Smakula's collection for Spellbinders, Foiled Basics. I'll be using all four new sets from this collection: Yana's Sentiments, Polka Dot Strip, Organic Foliage, and Foliage Border. In addition to these gorgeous new foil plates (and dies), I using the Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Ovals and Polychromos Colored Pencils.

The Foliage Border was foiled on Hero Hues Nautical Cardstock with Spellbinders Matte Silver Foil.
Additional images from the Foliage Border Set and Yana's Sentiments Set were foiled on Hero Hues Nautical Cardstock with Spellbinders Matte Silver and Polished Brass foils. The outline images were colored with the following Polychromos Colored Pencils:
- Flowers: Helioblue-Reddish, Light Phthalo Blue, White
- Leaves: Permanent Green Olive, White
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the wreath as shown. Additional sentiment die cuts were stacked one on top of another to give the foiled sentiment dimension.
A greeting from the Thankful Flowers Stamp Set was stamped on the background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. An additional phrase was stamped on white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Deep Sea Ink, die cut with the Simon Says stamp Sentiment Labels Die and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
The design was finished with Wedgewood Blue Nuvo Crystal Drops.
The Polka Dot Strip was foiled three times on Hero Hues Mist Cardstock with Spellbinders Moondust Foil to create an all over pattern.
The Foliage Border was foiled twice and a greeting from the Yana's Sentiments Set was foiled on Hero Hues Mist Cardstock with Spellbinders Matte Silver Foil.
Additional images from the Foliage Border Set was foiled on Hero Hues Mist Cardstock with Spellbinders Matte Silver foil. The outline images were colored with the following Polychromos Colored Pencils:
- Flowers: Helio Turquoise, Cobalt Green, White
- Leaves: May Green, Cadmium Yellow Lemon, White
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the wreath as shown. The two wreath/circle images were adhered together to create one piece. The whole thing was adhered to the foiled polka dot background with foam adhesive.
A greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with Lawn Fawn Silver Embossing Powder, die cut with the Simon Says stamp Sentiment Labels Die, and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
The design was finished with Caribbean Blue Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Two Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Ovals were foiled on Hero Hues Adriatic Cardstock with Spellbinders Teal Foil.
Flowers from the Foliage Border Set and leaves from the Organic Foliage Set were foiled on Hero Hues Adriatic Cardstock with Spellbinders Teal Foil and Cobalt Foil.
The outline images were colored with the following Polychromos Colored Pencils:
- Flowers: Helioblue-Reddish, Helio Turquoise, White
- Leaves: Permanent Green Olive, May Green, Cadmium Yellow Lemon, White
The images were die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the design as shown.
A greeting from the Thankful Flowers Stamp Set was stamped on the background with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
A sentiment from Yana's Sentiments Set was foiled on Hero Hues Adriatic Cardstock with Spellbinders Cobalt Foil. Additional sentiment die cuts were stacked one on top of another to give the foiled sentiment dimension.
The design was finished with Sea Breeze Nuvo Crystal Drops.
