Hello friends! Today I'm sharing two one layer watercolored cards featuring components from the Simon Says Stamp April 2020 Card Kit, Follow the Rainbows. For the rainbow and clouds panel I used one of the four custom Suzy's Watercolor Cards included in the kit and simply painted the panel with Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors and embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard before adhering the panel to a white top fold card base. For the other card, I created my own one layer panel with the Follow the Rainbows Stamp Set also included in the kit!

One layer cards are a breeze to mail since they are relatively flat! I love finding ways to embellish one layer cards for that added bit of fun! Touches of iridescent glitter with the Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were the perfect touch for these encouragement and thinking of you cards.
I applied the Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors using a Medium Water Brush Pen. I watered down the Hero Arts Dark Teal Liquid Watercolor quite a bit for the soft blue background on this Suzy's Watercolor Card included in the kit.
This next panel is a custom stamped watercolor card created with the image and greetings from the Follow the Rainbows Stamp Set. The light gray background was achieved by watering down the Hero Arts Black Liquid Watercolor.
