I am sharing how to create a simple extended scene for a slimline card using the border image from the set.

A Slimline Nested Rectangle was die cut from smooth white cardstock and the images from the Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Exclusive Stamp Set is "Life Is An Adventure" by Ink Blot Shop were stamped on the panel with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. Masks were created for the images with Masking Paper. The border was stamped twice, the second time, only a portion was stamped, to create a continuous border along the edge of the slimline design.
The great thing about making this a slimline card is that the extra space provides the perfect spot for the greetings from the stamp set! I love the space between the trees for the stamped and embossed greetings.
Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks were applied over the masked images to create the night sky.
The masks were removed and the images were colored with the following Copic Markers:
- Landscape: YG93, YG95
- Trees: YG95, YG97, YG99
- Tent: YR30, YR31, YR24, YR27
- Moon: YR30, YR31, YR23
- Clouds: B00, B01
- Girl: E000, E11, E13, R20, E53, E55, E57, R37, R39, YR30, YR31, W00, W2, W4, W5, E43, E44, B34
- Boy: E000, E11, E13, R20, E53, E55, R37, R39, YR30, YR31, YR23, E43, E44, B34, B37, BG32, BG49
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Exclusive Stamp Set is "Life Is An Adventure" by Ink Blot Shop were stamped between the trees on the design with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Stars from the set were also stamped and embossed in the sky.
The stars were finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard. The eyes were finished with a Sakura Black Pen and Signo Uniball Pen. Silver Stars were scattered throughout the background and a small heart embellishment was glued in place under the greetings.
