Happy Friday! I am so glad you're here! Today I have a slimline Christmas foliage card to share with you featuring components from the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit, Joyful Season. The slimline style allows for plenty of room for all the elements on this elegant holiday design.

The background of the card was created by die cutting a Simple Stories North Pole 6x8 Patterned Paper from the kit with the Simon Says Stamp Slimline Scallop die. The die was also used to die cut smooth white cardstock from the kit twice.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp Joyful Season Stamp Set were stamped along the bottom edge of the patterned paper rectangle die cut with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder. The panel was secured to a white slimline card base. The white scallop frames were adhered one on top of another around the patterned paper.
The new Simon Says Stamp Candy Cane Heart Die was die cut from the Lipstick Red Cardstock and smooth white cardstock from the kit and Lawn Fawn Gold Metallic Cardstock. The red cardstock was shaded with Copic markers in R46 and R59. The white outline was adhered over the top and the gold "hangers" adhered to the candy cane before the entire thing was secured the card base.
The foliage from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Foliage Dies was die cut from Lawn Fawn Sage Leaf Cardstock, Hero Arts Palm Cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Midnight Green Cardstock, and Lipstick Red Cardstock. The greenery was shaded with either BG93 or YG99 and the clusters of foliage were adhered to the design as shown.
Glossy Accents was placed on the berries for a glossy, raised finish.
A box was die cut from Lawn Fawn Gold Metallic Cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Candy Canes Die. The bow was placed at the top of the bander with foam adhesive.
A scattering of gold matte gold stars were added to the background to finish the card.
