Happy weekend! Today I tried out mini slimline cards for the first time and I absolutely love the result! The smaller size of a slimline is a fun size and much less intimidating than a standard slimline card. I used the new Simon Says Stamp Heart Garden Stamp and Simon Says Stamp Sassy Flaps Stamp Set with the previously released Simon Says Stamp Happy Days Stamp & Die Set, Simon Says Stamp Reverse Hearts Stencil , and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Keep reading and/or watch the video tutorial for all the details.

Panels of Bristol Smooth White Cardstock were trimmed to 2 7/8" x 6". The Simon Says Stamp Heart Garden Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge of each panel with Lawn Fawn Jellyfish Ink. Before coloring the heart garden, the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Hearts Stencil was lightly inked over the panel wit Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry.
The Simon Says Stamp Heart Garden Stamp Set image was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Light Carmine, Carmine Red, Light Green, and Yellow Green.
For the Valentine's card, the "Happy Valentine's Day" greeting from the Pawsome Love Stamp Set was stamped along the top and for the joy card the "you bring so much" greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Days Stamp Set were stamped with Simon Says Stamp Watermelon Ink.
The "love you" and "joy" sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Days Stamp Set were stamped with clear embossing ink on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The letters were colored in with a combination of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen and allowed to air dry before being die cut with the coordinating die and adhered to each card panel.
Sentiment strips from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Days Stamp Set were stamped on Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Wafer Dies and adhered to each background with foam adhesive.
Each card panel was adhered to a 3 1/8" x 6 1/4" mini slimline card base.
Little Things Droplets Blossom Hearts were added to each panel for embellishment.
Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Mini Slimline Envelopes were stamped with the Simon Says Stamp Heart Garden Stamp Set using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love how this little bit of stamping makes the envelope match the card!
On the back flap of the envelope "open me" was stamped from the Simon Says Stamp Sassy Flaps Stamp Set using clear embossing ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
On the back of each card another Simon Says Stamp Sassy Flaps Stamp Set phrase was stamped along the bottom edge of each finished card with Simon Says Stamp Watermelon Ink.
