Today I'm sharing my favorite technique for using 3D Embossing Folders - coloring in the raised, embossed areas with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! The results of coloring the embossed areas gives amazing depth and dimension to the design and you're left with a "no line coloring" look that is incredible! These gorgeous new embossing folders from Altenew are perfect for this technique. Let's get started!

The Altenew Folktale Birds 3D Embossing Folder was embossed on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Branch: Dark Brown, Beige • Brown Bird: Sand, Oatmeal, Mid Brown, Scarlet Red, Blender
Blue Bird: Blue Gray, Haze Blue, Oatmeal, Blender, Scarlet Red, Mid Brown, Sand
Flowers: Pink Flamingo, Carmine, Light Carmine, Light Green, Yellow Green
The Altenew Flower Bed 3D Embossing Folder was embossed on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Peonies: Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink, Blender or Carmine, Light Carmine, Blender
Yellow Flowers: Bright Yellow Yellow, Pale Yellow, Yellow Green
Daisies: Platinum Brown, Gray Tint, Blender Bright Yellow, Yellow, Mid Brown
Leaves: Light Green, Yellow Green
The Altenew Scalloped Frae 3D Embossing Folder was embossed on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Pink: Peach Pink, Sugared Almond Pink
Red: Carmine, Light Carmine
Orange: Orange, Pale Orange
Yellow: Bright Yellow, Pale Yellow
Green: Light Green, Yellow Green
Teal: Turquoise Green, Green Shadow
Blue: Blue, Light Blue
Purple: Violet, Light Violet
The Altenew Sylvan Baroque 3D Embossing Folder was embossed on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored in with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:
Flowers: Bright Yellow, Yellow, Pale Yellow
Leaves: Light Green, Yellow Green
Flourish: Turquoise Green, Green Shadow, Yellow Green
