Welcome to the May 2022 MFT Stamps Release!
Today I am sharing a Father's Day card and matching envelope using lots of new products from the MFT Stamps May 2022 Release! This is going to be my dad's card this year. In the video I talk about how when I saw this image I knew immediately I would use this for my dad's card. My daddy taught me how to use a drill, how to hang shelves, how to do so many handy things around the house that I'm so very grateful for. I can't wait to send this to him next month!

A Simon Says Stamp A2 Mask was placed over a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock. Distress Oxide Inks in Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso were applied to the panel and water from a Distress Sprayer was spritzed over the panel, leaving the mask in place, and allowing the panel to air dry.
Once dry, the MFT Stamps Father Figure Background was stamped over the background (leaving the stencil in place) using Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink. The mask was removed.
The MFT Stamps Work In Progress Stamp Set image was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored with the following Copic Markers:

The image was die cut with the MFT Stamps Work In Progress Die. The image was adhered to the background with foam adhesive, securing some thin yellow twine under the image and draping it across the card.
Letters from the MFT Stamps Modern Serif Alphabet Dies were die cut 3x each from smooth white cardstock. One layer was inked with Ground Espresso and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. The letters were lightly spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and adhered one on top of another and finished with Pretty Pink Posh Gold Metallic Pearls.
Additional greetings from the MFT Stamps Work In Progress Stamp Set were stamped on Lawn Fawn Ground Coffee Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greetings were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Dies and adhered to the card with foam adhesive.
The card was finished with a scattering of red hearts.
A greeting from the MFT Stamps Everyday Scripted Greetings Stamp Set was stamped inside the card with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Mocha Ink.
