I'm sharing some tips and tricks for using the brand new Simon Says Stamp Detail Round Blending Brushes to color in stamped and embossed images. For the backgrounds for these cards, I trimmed a Simple Stories Vintage Lemon Twist Paper into 2 - 4" x 5 1/4" panels. On each panel I splattered a bit of Tim Holtz Ranger Gilded Distress Foundry Wax with a small paintbrush and heat set it with a heat tool.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp You Shine Stamp/Die Set were stamped with black ink. An additional sentiment for each card was trimmed from the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Chill Sentiment Strips and adhered with foam adhesive.
Images from the Simon Says Stamp You Shine Stamp/Die Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock from the kit with embossing and watermark ink and heat set with white embossing powder. The images were colored with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Lemonade, Citrine, Celery, Pearfection, Melon, and Cantaloupe.
The images were fussy cut and adhered to the cards with foam adhesive.
Each design was finished with a scattering of lemon pearls.
